I know its easier to write lyrics first but I cant so I just make up random tunes on my guitars lol

As for recroding, me and my friends recently started a band, we dont have any of our own songs yet though its all covers, and so we havent recorded anything.

We have had a long running debate around lyrics first / music first and it appears some find it easier either way round. There is no universal truth around it.

Personally, I am like you , music comes relatively easily, lyrics don't! Now, I just wait till I get a hok before I write. Sometimes that takes time!
