My name is Mack and I am a singer songwriter based in Bristol, UK. Here's a little about me....

1. Do you sing, play an instrument or instruments?

I play piano and guitar to a fairly proficient standard, both are self taught.

2. Are you in a band or bands?

Yes and no...I am by no means an expert, forums like this are great for finding reviews on equipment

To have as many people as possible listen to and enjoy my music

I work in video so often write scripts / direct / edit films

I would love to have people listen to my music and take a look at my lyrics. If you like it, that's always great to hear, if you don't or you think I could do better, I would love to hear your thoughts and advice. I'd like to make new friends and potentially find like minded people to collaborate with.

I sing, play the piano and am currently learning how to play guitar.

I started playing piano at the age of 7/8. I started playing guitar not too long ago. I've never taken singing lessons, but I intend to do so, in order to learn the various techniques which make singing easier.

I've always had piano lessons. I wasted almost 2 years at a big school and quit when I realized I didn't make any progress. I'm currently taking lessons focused on blues/jazz and pop.

2. Are you in a band or bands?

I'm not in a band, but I'd love to be. Unfortunately, the people I'm close with aren't interested in making music and since I'm a socially awkward person, it isn't easy for me to ask other folks whether they'd like to jam. I'm trying the best to fix this problem though. However, I do have live experience playing with others, since my music school organizes a big festival each year.

3. Do you write songs?

I write my own songs and compose music as well. I started doing it regularly last year.

4. Do you record your music?

Currently, I'm only able to record my music with a camcorder or a phone. But I'm saving money for a good mic.

5. What other roles do you perform in the music business?

None.

6. Are you a tech head?

Nope.

8. What are your ambitions?

I want to realize my dream off making a living out of the activity I love the most.

What instruments? Bass, Guitar, Piano/Keyboards, Drums, Vocals-ish, Vionlin, Electronic manipulations

When did you start playing? At about 14.

Did you teach yourself? Mostly, though I did take a few years of Bass lessons that did not teach me much.

 I Independently release and distribute my music, physically and digitally all free of charge, under my fictitious record label.

6. Are you a tech head? Yes, I love effect pedals, plug ins, Microphones, cables, pickups, amplifiers, etc

8. What are your ambitions? To become a professional audio engineer, music producer, and be a musician as a hobby.

9. Do you draw/paint/write stories/computer art/dance or other creative pursuit? I make a few digital images for album art, a little photography. I write music and film criticism on a blog.

 Music, film, video games, self-reflection, Introversion, self-exile, alienation, regret. Esoteric references to the Star Wars expanded universe. And above all, sleeping.
