    That's a great list @john. All points super good. I think #7 is such an important one. It is especially good for those that have excitement and are just beginning to develop the skills of their passion. Critiquing, which is not always easy to do, is also not always easy to receive. When done in good faith is such a great learning experience.

    Hi All, It's about that time again! We are starting to work on our YouTube Valentine's Day playlist of indie artist songs for our channel. Do you have a romantic song or a love song that you've finished or are getting close to finishing that you would like us to consider adding to the playlist?     For the YouTube playlist.. I promote them on our Twitter and Facebook accounts and Songstuff UK (SSUK).. we also have done this promotion for the Spotify and Soundcloud playlists.

    Here's a collection I've put together over the years. I basically use the Showcase board for my selections. This one is all Songstuff members. but I also have a blog of Peggy's picks which is indie with 2 or 3 member songs of the 10.

    I "produce" and mix my own songs but... if I'm going to get really serious about the song, I consider my mix not the "final" mix and would seek a professional to do a final mix before mastering, which I wouldn't do.
