  1. The first time I tried this, the video didn't play So I just listened. It was OK. So I tried again and this time I got the visual as well. Thats when it became extraordinary! SO. Is it an Aural accomplishment? Or a visual feast? Or perhaps you can't have one without the other? As a traditional guitarist, I find these examples of playing dexterity quite awe inpiring! as a listener, I find nothing too spectacular to listen to! It sounds like one man trying to play three (maybe four) parts with the inevitable consequence that the mix is dreadfull. Some of the main melody is buried away and the rhythm gets left out and lost here and there! Having said that! I wish I could play like that. Just as a party piece! :)

  2. ok....

    I'd like to suggest a poll. :P

As long as there's no dancing! I hate poll dancing...

Notice the deadline of Dec. 15th... sorry but a little too late :(

I was too busy to record anything! Last evening was the first quiet time I've had!

Besides which! I haven't been able to play my guitar for weeks due to hand injuries!

(I'm going for the sympathy vote now!) :)

  3. Try to record yourself at all times. Sometimes when you play it back, it sounds totally different! Melody is the key. If you have a strong melody, it matters not what the instrument underneath is. Every song I ever wrote always sounded like something else to me! :)

  4. A very good pianist I once met told me you could find the key of vitually any song quite simply by finding the third note of the melody! That will give you the root! You should be able to decide if it's a major or minor key! This has saved my bacon a few times when depping with bands!
