Hi, my name is John. I'm 41 years old from South Louisiana. Ive been in retail sales and marketing for over 20 years. I played in a garage band for a few years when I was around 15, and didn't get much support from my family, so I let it go. A little over a year ago I had 2 surgeries to repair a Lis Franc injury in my foot. This put me out of commission for about 5 months. To combat the depression I started writing music again. It's become a passion like nothing else in my life. I've written a total of 28 full songs that includes country, rock, metal, dance/pop, and even rap (wow). I use song writing to deal with problems, insecurities, and just as a hobby for fun. I'm looking forward to becoming a valuable member of the community.
