Hi guys my name is Lance W Toohey and I am a song lyricist. I have recently had 3 of my works picked up by Sony Records and an Outlaw Country band are about to record them for their upcoming CD.

I write country/ballads/blues/gospel.....but at any given time will write just about anything. I am currently collaborating with a couple of very talented music writers in the States, but with the amount of lyrics I write they just can't keep up.

I have a backlog of almost 900 lyrics and now with Sony picking up a couple of my works I want to get as much done to the lyrics I have, as well as the new ones that just keep popping up... :lol2:

I'm just lyrics, no music, all that I leave in your hands. I very rarely have an imput into the music side, so once you receive my works you just go for it. Ã will always be totally honest with you, if I don't like the sound I will tell you and you can either give it another shot or grab another lyric...I got plenty of them.

Hope to hear from someone soon....Lance

Hi Lance,

Welcome to Songstuff, and congrats on your success so far.

It might be an idea to post some or at least a couple of your lyrics into the Showcase section so composers can get a gist of what you write. I look forward to seeing some of your work.

Kel
