Hey everybody I'm Mike.  I'm a 27 year guitarist/vocalist who just looking for a place to share and talk about music.  That led me here.  I have been playing the guitar since I was 14 and started writing music soon thereafter.  The last few years have been full of life and other distraction effectively keeping me from having time to focus on my music.  However, recently my wife got an amazing job and now I'm a stay-at-home dad which gives me and my son plenty of time to jam together.  He's only 18 months old so he mostly just plays by drumming on buckets right now.

With more time for music I have been trying to record and release my songs online and have gotten through two songs in the past two months.  I'm working on the third right now.

Another thing about joining this forum that I would absolutely love is to do some collaborative work with other musicians.  If there is anyone out there who wants to do something together let me know.  I have never done an online collab before but I think it would be tons of fun.

Anyways, I'll leave it at that for now.  Hope to get to know more of you soon.

Mike
