Newbie Lyricist Looking For Musical Songwriting Help

Hey all
I have just joined as I found this forum and now I am looking forward to going through the forum reading peoples advice, ideas and stories.

I have had a hobby since I was young but never shown anyone except a couple of friends and family and I have never took it forward.      I love to write lyrics, something I always find very easy and I have approx 300 full lyrics, only a few with music but I'm sure someone with musical skill can add to them and make then truly worthwhile.
My influences are very varied, love pop, rock, musical, house, epic etc...

I write anywhere, sometimes it just hits me and I write down a chorus or a verse and take it from there.
Sometimes I listen to a deep meaning song and then start writing, usually a full song or 2 or 3

 

anyone's ideas would be welcome.
