  2. Hello everyone!  I just noticed I have been away from this forum for 11 years or so.  I have written a lot of music since I first posted here, in a variety of genres including pop, country, rock, folk, blues, jazz, and sacred.  Here are links to some of my albums:

  4. The Grand Ole Opry is live on TV. Saturdays at 9PM CST. It's soooo good!

      I have an Android and I just checked the app "Opry" used to play the radio station that carried it live. Now they seem to be using "Circle" (which may be a TV channel) to live stream. I'll be looking into that. You may also try to down load a local NBC channel app to watch it.

      Yes it's really nice. I've been to the Opry 3 times and enjoyed the talent but it was the history of it that made me cry happy tears. 

      I believe they are showing it on TV until we are able to being in the audience again. Also they have an app.

      awesome. I did try to find her but the "dr" was the key i didn't have for the search. Going backwards and answering newer post before the older ones... backwards and out of order are pretty typical ways to go for me. LOL thank you very much!

      Kel, someone i follow on soundcloud used the same melody for a chorus that is already sung by a famous pop artist. DUMB! she actually thinks she created it herself in her original song...DUMB! Ugh!

  18. I can't seem to figure out how to post a song for critique.

      Hi! You have to have 10 posts before you can post a lyric for critique. It's in the rules...I see you may have hit the mark since you tried. so maybe do one more critique or post on the boards somewhere and then you should be good to go for lyric critique! can't wait to see what you've got.

      Teresa, I hope you do get to writing soon. I write because of life, about life, and about dreams of life... lol today my co-worker said "I'm going to the super market for sushi" I said "sounds like a song..." we laughed but I just might write about it. Anywho, I love soundcloud because its free (up to a point) and you can share it easily in other social media. If you get on there we can follow each other. Chat soon! Lisa

  25. Hey guys.

     

    Sorry I've not been around this year until now. Way too many things have happened over the past two months. Ending a 10 year relationship, moving to a new place in the middle of nowhere, shooting the music video for the first single over ten days, three big gigs besides the smaller ones, mixing sessions for the EP. lol So much has happened over these two months that I'm not even sure how to feel! :D

     

    I do feel happy that things are settling down a little bit here and I've finally got internet at the new place. I will see you guys on the boards.
