  1. I tend to have my guitar a little higher in my monitor. For me, it helps me play my guitar more smoothly…which also helps my vocal cut through more clearly. If there is reverb at all, I'd rather it be pretty low in the monitor. As far as EQ, I think that all depends on the performer and their equipment. My main guitar tends to be heavy on the mid-range, so I usually cut the mids just a tad. -I've never used the in-ear monitors, but I'm very interested in trying them out soon.
  2. Mahesh, Love the song, and your performance is stellar. Ive said it numerous times before…you've got a killer voice! I dig the video, it sets a nice mood with the rain in the background. Come to the states and play some shows! -Michael

  6. Excellent video. Thanks for sharing. I have about 300 likes on my FB music page, which I created about 2 months ago. Hopefully these likes are from people that are genuinely interested in keeping up with what I'm doing. FB certainly has it's place for growing a fan base, and I've gotten some very good engagements from my page. I think the key is to focus on organic growth, not the number of likes or "fans". Unfortunately, some music festivals and other promoters/booking agents only look at the # of FB likes that your page has accumulated.
  7. Neil Young's Unplugged album is on repeat today. Perfection

  8. Gry: Thanks so much, I always love to hear your input. Glad you like it! Dek: Thank you , my friend. Trust me…I hit wrong notes constantly. I appreciate the kind words, they mean a lot!

  20. I think both intros and outros are extremely important. The intro grabs the listener, but the outro can leave a lasting impression…hopefully, making the listener to want more of your music. To this day, one of my favorite endings for a song came from a Dave Matthews Band album Everyday. The song When the World Ends almost feels like it just stops out of nowhere…but it made me want to replay that song over again because I thought it was so cool.
