Hey Songstuff! You're the experts on all things music sales I believe, so I'd like your opinion. I wanted to know if anyone has suggestions for what makes a good iTunes Cover Art, both from a creator and buyer perspective. I think there are people on here who both sell music, some who buy music, and some who do both! Who has the best cover art you've ever seen? What do you look for that makes you buy? What seems to be a trend of successful cover art? Any examples to go look at? Which cover art of yours worked the best? Any and all suggestions and comments are helpful! Thank you very much!

We're still working on a slogan! Any ideas? It is a guitar with a paintbrush because we do music, yes, but all of our videos are animated, hence the paintbrush. Thanks for the interest

Songstuff forum goers! I've been on here for several weeks now and have made a lot of feedback for other songs, and also learning about the music industry, getting your valued opinion! Hi all, I'm curious if any of you have experience with the digital music distributor MondoTunes (as opposed to CD Baby, Tunecore, Reverb Nation, Ditto Music, *spamming website*, etc.). After a lot of research, MondoTunes seems like the best fit, but I wanted to make sure there aren't any unpleasant surprises to uncover if I go with them to put my music up on digital stores. What do you guys think? Who do you use? Thanks for the input!

If I might add something to this, I think perhaps the most important point is to figure out who your audience is and where they're most likely to hear about you. Tweens and teens are almost certainly on Facebook and Twitter, while adults are more likely to be tuned in to the radio and newspapers. This isn't to say that a comprehensive campaign of both new and old media isn't helpful, but figure out where the greatest return on your investment is and focus your resources there.

I know there are differences, but I assure you, I've bridged the gap I guess you don't know that yet, as I haven't actually submitted any lyrics for review (I don't want to give them away yet. Once you've heard a joke, it isn't as good the second time ). Still, I wouldn't mind being a part of some of these workshops. I'd be interested in comedy lyrics for sure, but I have years or experience writing and selling parodies and now with original comedic music. I don't plan on using subtle humor Done

Will these be free? Anyway, I've been writing poetry for years and years. In fact, one of my poems was used for a national advertising campaign. So, I'll put myself in the advanced camp Thrashimation, the YouTube channel and business my partner and I am starting, does comedic music. Do you think you could make a workshop for comedy song writing? I think some of the people on here should try to be less serious with their lyrical content

Hi all, I'm curious what your experiences are with the various artist aggregator services out there. Does anyone have experience with: TuneCore CDBaby *spamming website* MondoTunes DistroKid DittoMusic These are the ones I'm considering, but I've found it difficult to get reliable information on them. How can I figure out which one is the right choice? Any advice on or personal accounts of these services would be greatly appreciated!
