  1. Can't Stop - Red Hot Chilli Peppers Their best song! ~TIMOTHY~

    Screaming

No Idea... some concertes don't allow kids under 18 years old cause of alchohol.

    Screaming

I only like screaming when it's not overdone. I love screaming when it's done normally... like in Flyleaf - I'm So Sick, Green Day - Hitchin' A Ride (at one point screams) and of coarse the legendary 17 second scream in Given Up. I love Avenged Sevenhold... Like Afterlife, Bat Country, Seize The Day. I haven't heard much from them, just some songs from youtube. I can't stand heavy metal though... that scream all through the song, it's as annoying as heck!! I'd have to say Chester Benington is the best screamer though. He must have some pretty big lungs for some of the stuff he does, especially live concertes!! Man I wish so bad to go to one of their concerte's one day. ~TIMOTHY~
  4. Interesting... From what I heard it has 13 - 20 strings (though only 7 of them you use... the rest just add). The neck of the sitar is hollow and the frets are moveable. ~TIMOTHY~
  5. Sweet... are you still living in india? Yeah ever since I saw a sitar i've been so curious about it. I've heard the beatles used it even metallica used it one of their songs. I like to collect instruments and that'd be an awesome one to have hanging on the wall or something. Yeah I imagine it would cost alot! ~TIMOTHY~
  6. I neve took any lessons for keyboard or piano. I'd say i'm doing fine... Although i'm not sure either way. I don't take lessons cause I don't think i'd have the time. I'd instead rather, stay at home goofing on it until I stumble upon something great Lessons might help you a bit but overall i'd suggest not taking them. ~TIMOTHY~
  7. Hey neoism are you from india? Well there is this one indian instrument that I think is really cool. It's called a sitar... it'd be a neat thing to have How much do you think that'd cost buying it online? ~TIMOTHY~
  8. NO WAY! I have this one instrument that is one string that you play like a cello i've been trying to figure out the name of it! or where it was from. It has like a horse/dragon on the top of it. Yes I finally know the name of it! ~TIMOTHY~

    No Clue

Lol that's a funny way of looking at it. That's kind of the way I thought. I'll post my "have no idea" song in a day or two and see what people think... ~TIMOTHY~
  10. All that comes to mind right now is No More Sorrow - Linkin Park. It's not really a dance type of song at all! But the drums at the beggining are just so gritty and recognizable. ~TIMOTHY~
  11. Sorry I didn't think anything would/could happen. I never said it was my own work so I didn't think any copyright issues would come into play ~TIMOTHY~
  12. Yes I did actually. The music video felt like a preview for a movie, quite dramatic. It was very catchy, I loved the piano parts. It was better than I expected (wasn't actually expecting much). I'm trying to keep low expectations when a new linkin park song comes out. Chester's voice edit took me awhile to get use to. ~TIMOTHY~
  13. I barely know how to play a real guitar, so this is beyond me. Then again I did see someone play a guitar with his feet Hehehe... ~TIMOTHY~
  14. Ink - Finch There's an oddline in this song that mentions "driftwood" it kind of gets stuck in my head... ~TIMOTHY~

    Melody

I never really learned about what music theory is. I never really read any piano books I just learned enough to know what the notes were. When I write music I unintentionly use the full 5 octaves on my keyboard. It seems to make the song less repetitive and even if it's a slow piece it can still go through the octaves alot Not that staying in the same basic area is a bad thing.... most of the songs I listen to are like that (atleast I think). I've never heard of Instrumentalist before. It's a cool word... does it mean a musician that just makes music without singing or lyrics? If so that's probably what i'd be called. Not all songs can be this way but if I can I like to have songs that don't have a main melody. It's all equally distrubuted into the song making the whole song the main part. I usually just goof around on it until I find something that works. Probably the hardest thing for me is making chords that make it less repetitive and add depth. Thankfully I know someone that makes music as well. We think about music differently so we make a good team ~TIMOTHY~
  16. True but most of the lyrics are written by Mike Shinoda. It seems like chester's lyrics have almost a distinct difference, I can't really explain it though. Who are what is zomba?? ~TIMOTHY~
  17. Wherever I May Roam - Metallica ~TIMOTHY~
  18. Probably mike shinoda... his lyrics are sometimes heartwarming, clever, funny and emotional. ***Please do not post lyrics that are not your own, unless you have the written permission to do so from the artist or publisher*** Also one of the best hip hop artists I have ever heard of ~TIMOTHY~
