    Free Verse

His pain is like the tones of colour but as sharp as the edge of a knife the never look, for few eyes can see it. It 's wash will stain his invisible life, and his imprinted pain filled lips, smear his lips, bit by bit.
  4. Foreigner are one of my favorite bands. Iv never seen them play live yet, but l'v seen their tribute band many times. They are first class and l never miss their gig. This is one of my favorite songs, but l do find the lyrics sad.
  5. if you have never watched this cult movie from 1956 and listened to its soundtrack ( way before its time ) you are missing out. The first ever Electronic Movie Soundtrack. The message behind the movie/novel is worth exploring . l.'ll be watching it again for over the 100th time again tonight.
  6. iv always loved this song. You presented it really well and looked as if you enjoyed singing it . My interpretation of the line' the ocean is dessert with it's life underneath and a perfect disguise above is a reflection of life only experience can come as we travel on our journey of 'life' The younger generation wont be able to pick up on that yet. Thank you for sharing and also giving the background info on it.
  7. that's very kind of you. i'v got hundreds of poems written down, l just wish l could put them into lyric form, as that's where my interest is.
  8. Foo fighters used A! to produce some tracks..only found that out today. A1 is big business now in music industry
  9. yes john Bonham lived very near to us. My husband went fishing with his brother. l went to school with the sister of one of the band members out of ' The Move' In fact a lot of the big name bands lived very near to me and my husband in the 60's. yes the folk scene was very big in the 60's in Moseley, 5 mins away from where l lived and worked. It still has a big folk following there.
  10. l cant but always come back to how much the creative side of music is changing. All because of A1 now being used widely.in everything including the creativity of music. Will it be used in storytelling ? who knows, they will try to get A! to do that. l fear for how rapidly it is taking place. l know it cant be stopped but it's developing too fast. Many say can will befit us, perhaps they are right. Its been noted that it will benefit the economy by 2030 to the estimate of $15.trillion. A1 is now going on to be A12 and A!3..its as if some want it to go on to see how perfect it can get. Not a good idea in my opinion. A1 in music is what worries me. It has been one of mans greatest achivements to use his human emotions put into music. Now they are trying to get A! to replace it. Some say it will or cant ever happen but It's now being used in the music Industry. Some say that's a good thing. My grandson loves the prospect of A1 progressing in the Arts, he thinks its a good thing. But l dont agree. Edit. l think what im trying to say is 'where will it go' l know they use Al in all the Arts now, ie Choreography , Literature ect,. Writers are using Al to collaborate machine with humans to create novels and same with Art. It has caused rift with who has owner rights, same in the music. but its now becoming as we wont know what is real any more. The Al they say will become and Art form in its self. l remember a scene from very old cult moving called' The Time Machine' from 1978. the scene was where the character was taken into a cave and found all the past's history written in books and was decayed into dust, as the 'future' had disc of glass and nothing on them recorded of that past. The result was the fantasy 'future generation' was completely devoid of human emotion. almost like the machines they created. Far fetched, yes maybe. But who knows the road man is taking, is not really for our benefit, but in fact could be for our detriment. Worth thinking about ?
  11. Fragments of Cloth A turn of the head and eyes that led to catch onlooker gaze It always worked those come on ways but guilt he couldn't shed but underneath his inner skin behind his lofty grin he had no soul for hearts he stole no matter where or when. The lady gone his pain disguised his life is just for one no second thoughts i'ts just his way he smiled but thinks he's won. Not sorry now i'ts just his way no fool to bow his head he stands up tall taken on them all to quell what gossips said. He's happy now i'ts just his way attentions all he had so leave him be he was'nt bad a flirt and just a fad !
  12. The Sea's of the Dancing Grass i'm back there with you in the sea's of the dancing grass in the cool of the sunset take the steps of a timeless past. We'll dream together of the clouds of the dancing sea's i'm back there with you in the sweet of the grass filled breeze. In the beautiful darkness of a star filled night i'll never leave you to the storms of the fears you fight. I'm back there with you in the sea's of the dancing grass l'll never leave you as our love will always last.

    Gorillaz

l like these. This is the first track l listened too when l first heard about them..anyone else like Gorillaz ?
  15. l think the site is great. l would definitely recommend the site. l too would like younger members to join in on the forum. l can see there is a large membership on here already the view a lot but they don't seem to participate. They have a lot to offer and l would love to hear their views on music topic's. l feel the site is not just for seasoned songwriters, l think it's appeal is also for all music fan's as well who's interest in songwriting even at amateur stage but maybe feel intimated and reluctant to speak up. Why do they not say why that is ? The site has a lot to offer to that group, but it can only benefit if the younger member's want it to grow. The younger group of member's have a lot to offer and their wisdom is greatly appreciated by people like myself in the older group. l never underestimate the wisdom to be found in some 16 yr old's etc in the music industry, but they have to speak up and this site is perfect for it. The music industry is moving at a fast pace and the younger groups need to speak up and have their say on it !!
