  5. i would think the pa is contributing a good bit of the noise... so might your environment. I would invest in a decent sound module and decent monitors and headphones... as decent headphones tend to be cheaper I would suggest a decent pair of them befor your monitors. environment wise common culprits for adding noise are mains hum an fan noise from your puter and other gear. on your sound module there are several goid ones and in this market price really will affect the results. For a serious beginner i would recommend about $400-500 as that would give you a good quality AND room to grow. much cheaper and i think you will come up against the limitation a lot lot sooner and that is just a pain in the ass. a reasonable upgrade path for a hime studio fir you would be sound interface headphones microphones monitors . . . leads and cables if that is a price range you can afford i will happily give some recommendations. if not i am sure i could recommend something close to your original price... just be aware of my comment about limitations i hope this helps

  7. hmm okay.. so you have a drum track set up to use another VSTi and you added guitar etc and at that point thevdrums were no longer in sync with guitars on playback... the drums in question were sequenced outside samplitude? you then triggered that sequence successfully but they didnt stsy in sync... something like that? if I can better understand the sync issue I might be able to help there. you know what modules, what set up and how you set up triggering etc so at that point you try using sampitude with kontakt? But now all the sounds orvdrum mix is not the same as the song as you originally recorded it? at that point you are thinking import sounds to kontakt and trigger that from samplitude? or simply to start from scratch using a kontakt kit? at this point I hope iam close to understanding the prob though i have probably mixed it up. as much detail as possible in terms of what where and when with why as the bonus question as much details on symptoms and issues will make it easier to diagnose and find a solution or two.

    My Martin Guitar

Hey Sandy, I just noticed this comment! Oops! I find the cut-away very useful. Tone wise it's still a typical Martin sound.
