Hi Challenge Writers

Your mission, should you choose to accept it....

Songstuff has been approached by much loved country music star Bandy Travis, to write a come back hit about making come backs! To make matters interesting, Bandy will be sharing the limelight in this one, with none other Taylor Sloe... That's right, this challenging number is to be A DUET!

Your song should:

Feature two distinct melody / lyrical lines

Feature a section with those melodies /lyrics intertwined

Be about, or related to, making a comeback.

Your entry should be complete by Friday January 3

Absolutely Les. Although not his and hers duets, think about the little drummer boy duet with David Bowie and Bing Crosbie. They each have distinct verses and intertwined section where they sing together (if memory serves me correctly)

Who listens to David Bowie, I mean, hello? Les is a rocker! Bowie at best was a marionette in funny makeup!

I found this to be difficult, but challenging, so I went for it. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Sure, sure, John.

 

The theme is a good one, but I'm not a fan of the duet structure. So I'll sit this challenge out.

 

Curious to see what you throw at us next, though.
