Pre-Rap: This one goes out to a special someone who used to mean something in my life. You were everything to me, and when you left I had some recovery time, so I decided to put my feelings into verses and here's what I got.

That this wasn't healthy, it'll end in devastation

 

Turns out, that was the drugs talking to me

they were still right, but I couldn't see that clearly

I really needed something that could help me fix my sore

So I jumped in my Chevy, and I left for the drug store

 

When I finally got there, my mind wasn't straight

I never really thought that this determined my fate

I couldn't believe that the real me was slowly disappearin'

 

And I thought again “how did a girl do this to me”

Then I got on my knees and said “God, thanks for being with me”

Those are great hip-hop lyrics. I think what distinguishes rappers and makes them better than the others is their ability to not only rhyme, but to rhyme smoothly and tell a story. There are no made up words in here just to make it rhyme, and you can tell it wouldn't be a beat focused song. It would focus on the story and lyrics. Real piece right here man keep killing it.
