Keep The G Real

This is my second attempt at engineering my own track, if any of you have any experience in this field I would appreciate a few tips as I've just been learning on the go. I feel like if I had the right instruction, I could really build upon this skill and make some magic in the studio. With that being said, I'll drop the link to the song down below.

@Killer Bee,

It's a good song idea but the vocals are not clear and they're pretty loud as well, in my opinion. I'm not sure how much processing you've done on your vocals but I wonder how the raw audio sounds like? Coz if the audio recording is not clean, there's not much good you can do with it in vocal processing.

I'm also a beginner in arranging and mixing. I asked around this forum last year for some help, you might wanna have a glance to see some of the advice I got: http://forums.songstuff.com/topic/43324-i-wanna-learn-how-to-mix/

I do not know how to arrange and mix a rap song but for what it's worth, here are a couple of tips from a fellow beginner:

Hope this helps.

All the best,

Ken
