  1. Oh that’s funny. Yeah, there are a lot of different people who ride.
  2. here’s a picture of my son, 14 years ago, sitting on a 1976 Honda CB360T I paid $100 for in non running condition. I gave it to my dad for a retirement present in running condition.
  3. I owned a Honda CB1 back in the 90’s, it was also known as CB400f, only available for two years here in the states. It was an in-line 4 with gear driven cam timing and was great fun and good in traffic being water cooled. Presently, I have 8 bikes and two 4 wheelers to play around on. I’ve found that while I enjoy buying and fixing up non running projects, I don’t really like letting them go, but In reality, there’s only one that I won’t ever part with, she’s my baby. A 1995 Harley FXD. We’ve been through it all together. The picture is a 1980 Kawasaki KZ400 project I’m working on for a coworker’s son. Hopefully it’ll be finished this month as it’s meant to be a wedding present.

  5. Yeah John, I’ve always been into bikes. I think I’ve written a couple of lyrics on the subject, maybe even sang about it some. lately, past few years, I’ve been picking up and restoring old Hondas, XR75, CT70, XL75, and started riding dirt bikes again with my son. So far I’ve broken both feet, right thumb, been knocked unconscious, but I’m still at it. wish your back was better, Tom
  6. I have no memory whatsoever of writing this lyric, not a single word of it. It gets corny at times but I do think it scans well. I like the older style approach to the phrasing, and I wonder what I was thinking when I wrote it. Sometimes I act like I’m someone else when I write, like a character in a book, and I try to figure out what they would be saying or singing about. Does anybody else do that?
  7. Couldn’t have picked a better candidate for this. What the heck is that tin foil piñata thing in the background? I kept wondering if little tiny spacemen were going to come out of it. Maybe that’s where the rest of the band sleeps, or where Randy hides his stash of razors. I don’t know, but I sure enjoyed the interview and Randy’s take on music. It’s great to hear he has plans for the future, aside from capturing wayward satellites. Wishing you the best MP
  8. I want to know what I want for Christmas for Christmas. I have no idea. Time to do the downstairs bathroom which includes the time it takes to decide on what I want to do. Some warmer weather perhaps. Ooh, some rum would be nice. As long as I don't drink it before using the compound mitre saw I already got for Christmas so I could start installing the floor I haven't decided on for the downstairs bathroom that may just wait for sobering spring. 5 golden rings As always, all I ever want is for the people I love to be happy. Merry Christmas MP
  9. Whatever we want? You mean like eating dessert first?
  10. Yes, that works for me, but the connection is there. Like "Lady In Red" and "Queen of Hearts" works for me.
  11. i get the books in the Bible relationship, I just didn't know my books. its like, as if someone posts Dream On by Aerosmith, and someone else then posts Take The Money And Run by Steve Miller with their perception that both bands are fronted by a man named Steve. That doesn't work in my book. A song by Steve Miller and a song by Stevie Wonder would work though. Or Dream On by Aerosmith and Dream Weaver by Gary Wright would work. Or Dream On by Aerosmith and Fantasy by Aldo Nova would work but Fantasy by Aldo Nova and Cocaine by Eric Clapton wouldn't work even tho both song refer to the white powder. thats always been my take on it anyway
  12. Joel is a book in the Bible? I'm losing it!
  13. I don't get any of Rudi's posts. None. So please be honest, is this a sign of early onset dementia, which I can't even spell. That's gotta be a sign.
  14. What a great article. I Enjoy watching your journey, so glad you posted this. Nice video as well. Peace
  15. Pink - Glitter In The Air One of my all time favorite performances
  16. why does commotion take up more space than the lull provided for?

  17. I listen to the public radio station, NPR when I can. Up here in Iowa, they play a lot of lesser known music. http://iowapublicradio.org/#stream/0. I don't listen on line so I've never tried the web page out. Studio One I think it's called, but I listen to classical as well. The rest of radio is uninteresting, I don't even like the old classics as much anymore after a lifetime of listening to the same thing. I like some indie stuff, the melodies are fresh to me.
  18. Fantastic, thanks guys. I did one song in drop d a few years ago and haven't been able to make that tuning work me me again. I was using the chord shapes I knew and they didn't seem to work. But, I started the right way back then because I didn't know any chords, just went looking until my ear was happy. All this time I thought I was doing something wrong. thanks again
  19. So, uh hem, I feel stupid asking this, but when using alt tuning, does my left hand use the same cord shapes in the same positions as when using standard tuning?
