there are contracts for such things, if you have a way in , why are you asking , it is not an easy task to get your lyrics to artists , if you have an "in " then run him over till he gives in !!! otherwise , it is a daunting task !! copyright is a gimme ,many ways to do this , info here on the site , which we also have the info you seek , I been doing this a long time ,and even with an "in " it is a task, if you are worried about stealing , then copyright it , but the idea , sorry , cant be done, the above gave you some very good insight , good luck , rock on

been asked lately , where or how can I make my own beats for my lyrics(music) . . yea it is for rap , and he has only a computer and not sure how good of one, but right now searches youtube for beats to match the lyrics or as close as he can find , so thought I would throw it out there for him and see what came back , rock on !!

not long ago I was in my studio on my phone and hitting every thing I could , I was wrapped into the cyber age . my girl put her foot down , said"there is a whole world out there that has no cords or batteries " now I find my happy place and still make time for the ones that make me happy , just thought I would share this , sure others get caught up in it !! rock on !!

ok. I get asked every week almost , "man , I don't play an instrument and really want to learn , and I love the guitar " and asking me is the wrong guy , for I learned by ear and it came natural , but I heard of courses out there where you don't have to learn the ol school way . a few chords and you are playing a song , anyone here know of such a course or done this ?? I know this has it's down falls and well also has it's bennies also , cause someone learns a few chords off the jump , gives them a boost to take it further , so figured I would throw it out there and see what came back

(did find an old horn ) not sure if or what it is , going to clean it up . anyway , yea a cool find and when she gets back from the spa , will play her and see if the sound suits me , found a few that are worth a few grand up to 7,000 but .... it's about the hunt and find ,lol

go to the colab section , ask for someone that does beats , see if another member replies, I know of a few here that do , or could do this . I am sure searching for the right beat is a pain in the butt!! yet , you are searching for the beat that brings your lyric to song , so worth the effort , I know there are a few programs that you can download to have your own beatbox, also go to the boards and ask, we have much talent and knowledge here , so ask away , only the fool doesn't ask !!! I think most can be done right on the cell phone , if you have a newer one

I would like to hear it !! like I said , like your style of writing and think we need more rap here in this forum , we been thinking of having a rap section here , As we would like more artists like yourself ,which would be great for getting more critiques !! And I also like that you post the beat , for the fact that rap is written a bit different then most other lyrics , so that helps us who are not real connected to the rap side of lyrics writing ,and would help us (those not real familiar with rap) critique it with a better understanding . So write away my friend and post as you do , I look forward to it !! rock on !!!

hhmm , I could do that , but geesh , what if they didn't like the guitar ? then I would feel so guilty !!! plus she is in the spa getting a make over right now, so would have to wait till she is done with all that stuff!!lol . and I don't have an amp yet so it wouldn't be a complete gift , so I guess I will just have to put that idea on hold , but after she gets out of the spa with her make over I wouldn't be against putting her up for a type of charity thing on the site ,which could be a cool thing . Some type of contest that would be open to all who joins the site , cool idea David !! Have any Ideas on this ? Seeing as it was pretty close to free, When she comes back from the spa she will be looking brand new !! So maybe a contest for a small fee , to pay for her spa visit ,and the rest goes to a charity the site decides upon .?? I'm going out garage saling later today ,lol, now I have the bug to find new toys or the amp from that same era. or use an amp like you suggested and put that with the guitar and make it a complete package

hey , this one is even better I feel , as it too is good, will try to get back to both your posts as I like what your doing and only a few spots where I (and only my opinion ) can add a few comments to a few things , just a wee bit rushed today , but really like what you are doing . everything flows well and for the most part you use your words well and also add a bit of a twist in spots , which is always good, for me both pieces are very solid ,well thought out and worth working on !!! like I said not a huge rap fan but do enjoy anything with a message that's positive , you have both , rock on !!! if you don't hear from me please PM me ,pretty busy but would like to get more into your topics

how about those guitars ?? think I will chime in here , for a bit . firstly , thank you for the reply and speaking your mind Tina , As far as the boards , I'm glad you mentioned that , We have been working with john on getting more action to the other boards , because we also noticed that they are slow and could really use a boost . That is why I posted here , not always an easy task , for many reasons . A lot of our members come here for one or two specific thing and scoot out . So as a team ,we been talking of how to keep members more active in other areas that they might not normally visit . And also trying to streamline and get to better platform that would make visits here more enjoyable and informational. And I also agree with you that at times it is hard to find things here , that you know are here, .This is another issue we have been trying to get streamlined, This site has a vast wealth of information and I agree it needs to be easier to reach , so your comments mean that we are on the right path . As a moderator , I know of the spams and such that people try to push threw on a site like this , We take great measures to try to get to them before members see it , I would have to say if it was a mod or any other crew member that did that it was for this reason . For the fact we even talk of and visit other sites . We all strive hard to make your visit here what you are looking for in a site like this .In fact , I think that for the fact we volunteer here ,it means even that much more to us . So really thanks for your comments We can't improve if we don't know , I am happy to say the issues that you have brought up , as I said ,we are working on them Know we can never make everyone happy all the time , but we all (the whole staff) want this to be the best it can be !! As far as getting responses , Tina , I have many that have only one or two . I don't know why it happens but it does, but I have been here for years , so it is not a new guy thing , just happens . it is a Gretsch 6120 1958 , a solid find !! my guy says the # inside is 29352 and puts it in 1958 sometime there about , went on line and found a few and they are $3-7500 !!! i'm blown away right now cause I got it for 25 bucks !! about 400 to get it into shape and $800 to make it new !!! I'm trying to find the amps they sold with these tho and not having any luck

I like this , there are a few places I would use different words , but not sure if you are looking for that kind of input . rap isn't my strong point to say the least , but for me this is well thought out and flows well and even better when the beat is set to it , !! would like to see more of this and if you wanted input please say so , but for me the story line actually has meaning and a point which with some of the stuff out there , this surpasses it by far , rock on !!

hey all ,found an old guitar at a yard sale ,20 bucks looks to be a gretsch for the fact the pick ups are Dearmond , bringing it in today to see about getting it conditioned and working right , it was a bit beat up but solid structure wise for the most part , guess I can see online if it is worth spending the money , but mostly what amps did they use or sell for these is what I was wondering? love the sound of these old guitars , I have an old martin that I love , rarely play but when I do I love the sound , tho it is a few years older (30's) So I guess this is two questions , is it worth the money to fix up ? , and second what amps would go with this , ?? i'm guessing this is from the early 50's but don't know what they sold with these , or if it was personal to the guitarist thanks rock on !!
