*A very short poem of mine. It has lots of symbolism and personal meaning to me. I'd love to hear what you guys think. Thanks!*

A boulder

Jutting out of the water

A fist bursting through parchment

Gales beat upon its broad, grey face

Reeds thrive around its base

Resilient in the storm

Placid in the calm

A fortress

A home

This is actually a pretty neet little poem.  Who pays much attention to rock breaking the waters surface?  But, it is there for a reason.  It makes me think of God and Nature working together.  I'm impressed.

Very well done

Oh, by the way; I'm jutting out of the water too.
