True Warmth And Love

Sitting by the riverside

I know your standing behind that tree

Just watching as I stare into the sunset

But not once do you ask why

The sun is my love

And its been there since day one

When others have left

When I was defeated and done

The sun was always there through the worse

And the rays are like a hug held tight

I have felt so close

To the one thing that gives me hope and light

One day when I am torn down

I will be with the sun

to shine my rays on another person

So they can fell true warmth and love

A nice poem from someone with a scary name..(just kidding!!) I liked this...it felt reflective and peaceful...like a moment sitting on the beach and you are watching the sun come up!!...it worked for me, thanks for sharing..regards Mike
