For I'm suffering from the loss of your love;

the harsh scars still left from your burning.

I still carry the weight of the pain on my shoulders,

I'm climbing mountains of regret that I can not get over.

My eyes are red from crying,

Time is quickly flying, and

my mind keeps rewinding back to the horrible yells of our fighting's.

I didn't see this was in Poets corner, so I've changed my original text.

I like the idea of writing a letter, in songform. Reminds me of a song called "Dear Lover" (phew, nearly the same as yours )

 

As it stands, it's more in line with poetry, because the size of the 1st section, let's call it Verse 1, doesn't reappear, making it hard to write music in this way.
